One of the places that we were dying to see in Louisiana was the abandoned Six Flags park. In the weeks following Hurricane Katrina it sat in more than a meter of water it never reopened. It's still just sitting there, decaying. It's eerie, a little dangerous, and beautiful, like a lot of things down here in the South.
